Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK) announced his resignation in July 2022. India said that change in leadership will not impact India-UK ties.

India – Sri Lanka relations
India is supporting Sri Lanka in its economic recovery. This has improved the India-Sri Lanka relations. Better transport facilities between the countries, and improved trade and cultural relations will further improve the relations between both countries.
War crimes
War too has rules. Attacking civilians is a war crime and soldiers can be punished for doing that. Not just the soldiers, but the persons who have commanding authority will also be punished if they have commanded or ignored the soldiers’ war crimes.

Women in Armed Forces
Slowly the situation is changing. But the share of the women workforce in the Indian armed forces is very low. As of February 2021, the share of the women workforce in the Indian Navy is 6.5%, in Army, it is 0.56%, and in Air Force, it is 1.08%.
