Yes merger of Bank is a good we know everything has two is possative side and another is negative that here merger of Bank is good for our economy and the rich person but it is not good for general people.. because people will face problems.before merging the bank many banks were available in india.but some rural areas people those are not getting the proper service..if now bank will merge then no of banks will be reduced..then what people will be do..and another reason working hour same but workload more.. then what will be happen..and the big problem is employment will be decreased..and also no of customers will be arise one banks for their service that’s why rush also will be arise..

Good points are raised I also want to subsume here few point in this regard .Merging the public sectors bank is good initiative to boost the capability of bank to provide loans to different startups and enhance the economy, but now come to the consequences that should be brought with this concern.
    1. Reduction in Jobs: As we already have lack of jobs in different sectors and now this merging of banks will make it more panic
2.Accessibility of banking transactions will be complicated.
As one need not to go their home branch ,one side it strengthen the banks present in different zone of the district, on the other side it leads people’s gathering in one bank which is suitable for them in biased manner. That turns up the rush in banks.
With the conclusion I must say that merging of banks is a good initiative but before that ,government should have a strong and brutal planning on the ground level.
Likewise improving banking facilities with proper networking.
Awaring the people different zones of the country and specially rural areas.

According to me on Mega merger of PSU banks in a very good initiative. On 30th Aug, 2019 FM Nirmala Sitaraman announced mega merger of some banks Punjab National Bank , Canara Bank, Union Bank , Indian Bank, United Bank, Allahabad Bank, Syndicate Bank , Corporation Bank , Oriental Bank of commerce and Andhra Bank. So bank establishment costs will be reduced and small bank merge with large bank then large bank will be more strong and Indian economy will be strong,

Merger of bank is a good step taken by the government and the council to improve the economy. Before merging the bank recapitalization was spillted in different banks and the more focus was given on the good balance sheet by the bank. Now, the more focus will shift to the better activity. To keep the level of good activity more focus should be now on more consumption and for more consumption the rate percent , taxes should be reduced . And, the finance ministry is certainly taking measures to improve the consumption section. Moreover this merger will help in keeping the work process smooth . For, for one branch there will be more sub branches. Now, their’s also a chance if again a situation comes where bank provides loan and the loan is not repayed in time (for eg. Neerav modi case) . Then, for such cases or other fraudulent cases bank should take precautionary measures in the begining itself. For eg if one wants to take a loan of big capital the bank should have something of that person’s belonging twice the loan capital or may sat one third more of the loan capital. Also, banks should be a bit linient in getting loan repaid. For instance if one has taken the loan of 15000 crore and admits of paying back 1000 crores then they should accept the deal and cease other property so that the bank has amount to circulate. Moreover, artificial intelligence should be adopted in such fraudlent caes.

In short bank mergers will enhance the lending capacity as well as reduces interest rates on loan further it will increase easy and low interest rate credit availability will help to increase consumption and result in prosperous economy

In my point of view mergers of public sector banks is really a good intiative
By merging of banks the npa problem will be reduced
Also the Economy of our country may come in good condition
Expenses of maintaining various branches will be low
So that bank focus more on giving loan and made economy better

Merger is a good step because before merger there were no bank of india in global top 50 banks
But after merging sbi and itS associates we achieved it
And banks need to be capitalised
And after merger bank size would increase
Operational cost would be reduced the ratio of casa will increase the ratio of npa will decrease reduction in operational cost and transparency in giving loan and management would be better so it is a good step
