Today is the 23rd day of ‘Let’s Discuss’ program. This program is like a virtual group discussion. we’ll give you a GD topic on every Tuesday. Go to the embedded youtube video and express your thoughts on the topic through the comment section by tomorrow morning 10 o’clock. We’ll read each and every comment and will pin the best comment.

The aim of this program is to create a platform for students to express their views, to learn from the opinions of others and to finesse their articulation skills.

Water water everywhere not a drop to drink!.this is what the present situation.Even though our planet so called blue- green planet where 70% of the earth surface occupies water yet we are facing water crisis..It is unfortunate that even in this new millennium we are not accessed to Safe drinking water. It is high time to shift our focus on basic amenity that is water. It is essential in our Day to day life.. steps need to be taken to store water.we should organise a mass movement on water crisis like swachh Bharat to bring awareness among people of the world.each one of us need to put a little effort in avoiding wastage of water. People should share traditional methods of saving and storing water on social networking sites.. traditional methods should be encouraged.. rainwater harvesting is also good method in increasing ground water level.afforestation , vanmahotsava, social forestry should be encouraged in all schools and colleges. So that increase in trees would lead to rain. Lets us work together towards better future so that no such Chennai crisis would occur in future..

According to me water crisis is a major issue in India. We everybody has to take steps otherwise near future we will be in severe problem. We will get die not only human being , animals also will not alive. We have to save every drop of water. We everybody aware of Global warming as a result sea level rising and ground water level decreasing. Populations are increasing day by day as a result new building construction and as per their demand people set up water pump and taking the water limitlessly. If it continues then after few years we will not get water. First of all plantation of tree is very essential, tree means life. Only trees can save our planet. If adequate trees will be there then cloud formation will happen. Then reduce the rain deficit. We have to conserve the rain water, we should not waste it. If we will set up big water tank we can conserve water and water bodies should not filled up and it has to clean then people can use the water. If rain water save then people can harvest the crops also. So we have to remember we will not waste one drop of water.
