  • COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan city of China in December 2019. Till now it has spread to more than 100 countries. More than 1,00,000 people were affected by the 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak and the death toll has crossed 4,000.
  • In India, 7,67,000 people have affected by the COVID-19 as of now (10th July 2020), out of them 4,76,000 have recovered and 21,129 people have died.
  • Every country is trying hard to handle the Coronavirus outbreak. India is no exception. The Indian government took several steps to prevent the outbreak, but couldn’t. So, now the Central government & State governments are doing their best to tackle with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Steps taken by the Indian government to prevent COVID-19 outbreak:-

  • The Indian government has set up coronavirus screening at airports as soon as the news of the outbreak in China came out. And people from China or who have travel history with China were banned from entering into India. In some cases, they were sent back. And Indians were stopped from going to China. If anyone has symptoms, they were quarantined and were treated in isolation. In this way, India could effectively prevent the COVID-19 for a much longer time than most of the developed countries.
  • People, who travelled to India were ordered to stay in home quarantine for 14 days.

The present situation in India:-

  • In March 2020, India has 15 labs to test the coronavirus. At present, there are more than 1000 COVID-19 testing laboratories in India.
  • Two Indian firms were in a race to develop a vaccine against COVID-19. Bharat Biotech has successfully developed an inactivated vaccine – ‘Covaxine’, India’s first COVID-19 vaccine. It is expected that this will be launched by August 15th, 2020 after completing human trails.
  • Several patients are being treated in hospitals, and several others with mild symptoms are being treated in their homes.
  • India is more vulnerable to epidemics because of its high population density, poor and unequal healthcare facilities, poor sanitation facilities in slums and rapid growing internal migration. Still many people in India do not have access to primary healthcare services. And the present number of hospitals are not in a position to handle a significantly high number of patients at a time. There is a lack of healthcare professionals in India.

Conclusion:-

Right now, COVID-19 is spreading in India and the world at a rapid rate. The Indian government is trying hard to tackle the outbreak with its limited healthcare personnel. Strengthening our healthcare systems is the need of the hour.

This can be discussed in two zones i.e. before discovering vaccine and after discovering vaccine
Before discovering vaccine people who are economically weaker they faced lot of difficulty as they cannot afford lot money on COVID-19 treatment as the prices of medicine, oxygen cylinder and ambulance charges are soo high during that period. Even there are government hospitals as we know that government hospitals not take much care about their patients so this behavior made lot of deaths .so in my point of view people who are economically strong are survived during this period.
if we talk about the period after discovering vaccine government given free vaccine to all people and rate of vaccination is fast. The priority of vaccination is given according to the age of people. India has second highest population in the world still India did best to come out of this pandemic.

In the starting period when corona was at modearte level the Indian Government took several steps to tackle the problem .They banned people coming from outside the countries coming to India. They began quarantining people who have travelling history in India for 14 days. Also, people with symptoms of corona were send to hospital and quarantined but somewhere facilities of hospital were not so good .Like in bihar medical team were ignoring covid affected patient and because of this several people lost their lives just because of irresponsibleness of our government.Government issue a rule that wearing mask on public place is compulsory but people violating this rule is left by government .

      Yeah! You’re right
My father also lost his live because where I’m live, our district Alirajpur, they isolated the people there, but there is no facilities regarding health care, there is no more doctors to care the patient or more……!
However, my father lost his live.
When my father died the doctor said to me that your father has not infected by coronavirus
When I was heard the sentence of the doctors
I was very hurt, because when my father was not infected by coronavirus, so why you set up my father in quarantine centre.

Yes you are absolutely correct this pandemic is a large one but as it was an unimagined situation for everyone so no one was prepared for it. It has really hit hard to all of us. And also the government is also coming up with different solutions to deal with this problem.

Covid-19, that breaksout from the epicentre Wuhan City of China, turned pandemic and engulfed the entire world within a short span of time and hence India is no exception. The rise of the deadly virus tolled to ariund 1 lac in India itself, after having lockdowned and quarantined the entire nation. Vagrant stranded, destitutes leads diaspora, economy jolted, SMEs shatterd , livelihood standstill. The picture came out to be pixelated. India is trying to tackle the pathetic situation with utmost strength, but there is lacking of norms that need to be deeprooted in the system such as, making a law of social distancing, carrying sanitizers, every being punished for violation, follow up each infected people, lockdown to abolished with strict measures, every person being screened before entering any precinct, the dine outs need to be shut or,if opened with partitions in spaces. According to WHO, we need to learn to live with this virus untill vaccine comes out or there is a herd immunity. Till then these protectiv measures to be implemented to tackle this pandemic and become Covid free nation.

Covid-19 is the biggest problem in the world. But our indian prime minister has taken good step to against the carona viruses. It is too difficult to find out the travelled people. But every state should find out them.the symptoms of carona virus cough, cold, fever. The people who have this symptoms, they should come out and do quarantine prosses then we can reduce this virus. We should stay at home. Because there is no medicine for this virus. If we stay in home, offcourse we can save our country, we can save our lives. Jai hind

Government of INDIA is trying its best as it could by the keeping in mind about the poor or labour classes all necessary requirement from food along with money transfer to there respective accounts- govt. left no page unturned . But are there are certain things that has to be done frequently like testing more and more people as they could, asking all domestic manufacturing units to manufacture essential medical equipment like sanitizers, ventilators, masks, testing kits, suits for medical warriors with the help of domestically available resources. And also govt. should deploy army to the most affected areas so that they can help police in maintaining laws and order as well as allocating necessary commodity to the people at their doors.

Yes, India is prepared to fight the virus. One being the government we have chosen, seem to be taking the right steps, like enforcin lockdowns, sealing borders, calling upon medical staffs motivating them to give their best. Unlike USA, Italy which were scattered and didn’t know what steps to take or how to reduce the spread. Secondly India has dealt with H1N1, amd other type of diseases in the past, so we are better prepared.

There would be few cons, but the way India is going it seems it will mitigate the spread of the virus. It all comes down to individual now and how we ourselves try to quarantine and not roam around as well as teach people who violate the rules set.

Indian goverment leaves no stone unturned to tackle this problem but as we know that the health care system of our country is not so good as other developed country….we can only stop this by social distancing so now the ball is in our court…..we must inform our travel and contact history with goverment so government mitigate it.

The world is appreciating in young one having less number of covid-19 positive cases as respect to its population but the reality may differ.
If we if we compare India with other countries like USA Italy and China which are domestically suffering from covid-19 they have one level of healthcare system but India having least health care system for example India having only 70 hospital beds on 1 lakh people and 2.3 ICU beds for 1 lakh people while China and Italy having 420 and 320 hospital weights respectively as well as 3.6 and 12. ICU beds respectively.
In India in some states there are heavy number of positive cases while some States have no effect the reason behind this may be having no facilities in particular States for example Kerala and Maharashtra having highest number of positive cases and important thing about those States is this they have better health care facilities with compared to other states like Bihar.
In Bihar and some more States the doctors and nurses do not have any self protection gear or equipments like particular mask for gloves.

COVID-19 virus main problem is that it may take 14 days to show shymptm that someone is affected by this corona virus, now for govt of india it is very difficult to search people who are travelled from different part of the world, because in these 14 days they have travelled in various part of country, somehow if govt is able to get the list of these people than also it is very difficult or nearly impossible to get how many people are infected through these people and the main problem is that this virus spread very fast rate.So i believe that people of india should more responsible than goverment to stop the spreadness of this virus.and this is only possible by keeping social distance and lockdown
