Hii frnds,in my views media is the most popular mode of current knowledge. Now a days every one depend upon media yo know their society , country and the world.in the last age,the mode of media was Radio and news paper but now a days it’s has been so spread that it’s news are telecasting on mobile and tv.and we all know that mobile has been the most popular mediam to know the world in new generation.its is so portable that anyone can handle it easily.
In the other hand, media has a big responsibility to present the news before people.because if it will show the wrong news, everyone will have to remember this and by this there will be a big problem between people and government.so it is a boon if it is working properly and provides the true news otherwise it will be a curse for the society.

Media – It has given an importance as fourth estate that showcases happenings around us and acts like a bridge that binds government with people.
But today’s media merely give voice to much needed issues. Media has become a puppet in the hands of some major political parties. Since there is no direct connection of government and public and media filled that gap but as of now media is something owned by big political parties and manipulates the opinion of public giving some soft concern to their parties.
Now a days media is no longer fighting for fundamental rights of citizens, social issues. They are just formed in favour of some big tickets. They influence the people with fake news and establishes a good name for their own parties. Basically it’s a gimmick. They are now shifted the basic foundation principles to fighting for their TRPs. Media has become a business rather a socially responsible organisation. They want to rise their TRPs and wipe out their competitors so they attract the public with some absurd issues and conduct useless debates that benefits none. But the public is impacted to a larger extent because they are getting influenced by their information. There is no judicial process that tests the transparency of the information that media is projecting. As there is no regulating authority everyone is using media for their own benefits. So it’s time to check the transparency and media should be onside with public not on some big political parties.

In this era of technology we humans are always connected with the technology and anything is just a click away from our reach, as per our topic of GD we are basically talking about the impact of media on people.
Media is basically connecting people with each other, celebrities, politicians and what else you name just name it, eventually we gonna find the way to connect with that place, person or thing.
Media allows people to stay updated about the happening around them, media, is very wide and its biggest boon is the great social media, social media not only allows us to stay connected but yes it also allows us to comment our views and share whatever we have in our mind.
According to me we cannot curse or keep finding negative impacts of the media, like a coin everything has its two sides its depends how you are utilizing it. keeping it short not gonna tell about media’s misusage.
We have seen twitter have been playing a very useful role when it actually comes to right usage of the social media, people have been twitting about some really useful things like we have seen things become trendy when you try to make an impact by putting some cool hashtag to your tweets, teen have been very much attracted towards such things and we all know that today’s young people are tomorrow’s future so yes what makes them move today makes affect on tomorrow,
We have also seen that our respected Prime Minister have been trying to connect with the people via social media by coming live on some social platform, posting polls on Social media, listening to people and honestly it somewhere creates impact and it have never been possible without media.
So, I think media’s impact on people is that it is making people much aware about things of their interest and other important issue which is common and one should have some knowledge about it, like slight general knowledge does no harm.I am not a kind of guy who is much into habit of reading newspapers or watching news but yes with the help of media i have ample knowledge of what is happening around the world, like recently everyone in india must be having knowledge about Chandrayan-II and according to me people of my type who are not much into news also have some information about the entire mission and its possible because of media.
because media has become trend now and i really appreciate that.

According to me nowadays media influence very strong. Actually media is the platform common people can express their opinion, if any incident happens through social networking websites people send their messages and within few minutes all over the world people get the information , may be sometimes administration does not want to take any action but when public outrage starts administration have no choice have to take action against the accused person and innocent people get justice. Earlier years we had seen many incident happened and powerful people suppress it administration could not take action and accused person go Scot free and innocent people is victimised. So good purpose media influences is good. I have watched TV news in DD Bangla one boy was missing for a long time , he was in NGO and the news was showing in DD bangla and one couple they are looking for their son and last of all they have reunion so it is good . But sometimes people use the media for make it fun it creates rumours and people get panicked and sometimes humiliation so this is not good. Sometimes any small incident media give the colour and show they hide the actual truth and sale their news as people eat it this is not good. For good purpose media influences is good.

Nice thoughts and it is easy to me for understanding about social media because it is in common language

The thing is that without media there can’t be any opinion.
The very basics of opinion is that they are build from the knowledge one gains from print and digital media. Analysis are done with the help of these media contents.
Media is like cells and opinions are listed ke a body built up of cells.
Suppose today all media houses started showing negative impact of 370 abrogation do anyone can think of any positive effect one can think of after watch media reports.
Politics, business, entertainment all these things use media to influence ppl.
The narrative of media houses today are different from each other. Many are sponsored or allegedly sponsored by politicians and businesses.
Mob lynching is one of negative effect of social media
    Popularity of games like pubg
Publicity of illogical, useless, common, irrelevant material
Are some of the examples of influence of media.

Media is by far known to be the fourth pillar of democracy. Its importance lies in this very statement. Media creates a picture in the minds of the users with which they voice out their opinion. The information given by the media may be accepted by a few and may even be counter argued but it acts as a base for all discussions thus affecting public opinion.

We, Humans are social animals and most of our views derive from others. That’s why media has a great influence on public opinion. I have several examples to support my point.

    1) In the last US elections, when Cambridge Analytica, an advertising company, persuaded users to vote a certain way by showing different advertisements on the same issue, to different people. The persuasion was done by gathering information on the Facebook page likes of users and using that data to create models that predict personality. This is one of the biggest example how social media can influence public opinion.

    2) In India, even after several blunders by Modi’s government during their first tenure like Demonetization and bad implementation of GST, which had severely affected our economy, they again came to power in 2019 elections with bigger majority due to influence of news channels. Most of the news channels were showing Modi on television for 24*7 which swayed the minds of voters.

    3) On social networking sites like Instagram and Facebook, film stars posts their perfect looking pictures and glamorous lives they are living in. This influences the minds of young generations to pursue acting as a career, without acknowledging their true strength.

    4) Many people tends to believe true everything on the social media without inspecting. Therefore, some people tries to take advantage of it by spreading hatred through false news. Many social media sites are looking for ways to tackle it. This has also led to mob lynching cases across the nation.

The above examples clearly shows how social media can influence the mindset of people.
