I believe this is a good step taken by the government but this is not the solution of all problems.
    *******IN FAVOUR *****
    1. When people have to pay huge amount of money they will definitely abide the rules.
    2. It will provide additional money to the government which can be used in road maintenance and other such works.
    3. When people will abide the laws then there would be very less accidents hence journey would become safer.
    4. It will solve the traffic problems to some extent.

But apart from this…. There must be a transparency in the system to regulate such laws fully.

    1. Artificial intelligence based cameras can also be used on busy roads and roundabouts to make the things transparent and easy.

Hii everyone, good evening;in my views heavy traffic fine in India is a good step to restrain road accident.but if it’s main aim to restrain accident,it should be easier for public.there should be a little cost of money on making vehicle paper .And all the money form road traffic should be used in public welfare. There should be road side hospital and emergency availability of ambulance for patient. And it’s all mean that if in real it’s main aim to save people,,there is some useful way like to decrease the value of medicine, traffic education, and other public work should be done.

I think this kind of heavy fine is not good in country like India because per capita income of Indian people is 1650 and indias ranked 112 among 189 countries insted of fine u distribute helmate to whose who not wearing it on the spot where police is catching the that person. And provide insurance also if any one has not insurance of their vehicles
Second thing is heavy fine will increase the corruption.
And their is no significant decrease in number of road accident after implemented this rule
I think it will increase the accident how?….. Let me explain. If i have no license or helmate and i see police about 100-200m ahed i will go return or i will doing any thing to save my 1000 rupaye because it is big amount
In India some peoples monthly income is 3000-5000 the how they can pay this fine
I know one example, IN UP one of the truck driver leave his truck permanently in police station because his fine is 1.8 lac
conclusion is this policy is not working in Indian

I think heavy fines on traffic rules violation is an effective step taken by the gov. and it is because the Indian society values money much more than following any traffic rules ,even if its for their own good. when they would be charged heavily, they will themselves start following all traffic rules, and would carry all documents including their license.as there is famous saying in India” GHEE JAB SEEDHE UNGLI SE NA NIKLE TO UNGLI TEDHI KARNI PADTI HAI”. This step of gov rhymes exactly with this saying, as earlier when there were meager fines ,no one would really care about having to pay fines ranging from50-100…but Now it costs their pocket a fortune. and that’s what makes them drive responsibly on road and be a responsible citizen .

It is a right step taken by gov. initially people will panic of high fines but later as they will get up to habit of wearing helmet and following traffic rules, fines will look normal.people see it as a bad move because they are facing broblem of fines right now but looking as a whole in future it will bring a tremandous change and disciplin in system.

Mergers of bank happens when our Finance Minister Sitharaman announced that 10 banks will be merged and become 4 as total number of banks came down from 27 to 12. This discussion came out of pressure of bad loans ,economic slowdown and decrease in lending capacity.
To counter all these event and upscale the economy I believe this is a good decision. None of the banks of India did represented in Top 50 banks around the world but after this policy SBi has jumped to Top 50.
Why I support the mergers of bank to be good are mentioned below
    1) increase in lending capacity. Because of this Some of the sector whose groth have fallen like auto sector and infrastructure sector , it will be possible for the consuers to buy a car or a house as banks can provide you loan on the baility of your paying capacity
    2) Banks could have better control over the consumer with high security system and there will be less cases like Vijay Maliya and Neerva Modi
3)Stronger banks merged with weaker banks can uplift the latter by proving with latest technology and other stuffs. If there are good relation among themselves it will do hods of good for them. Organisational structure coould be a barrier as each bank has different but they have to resolve among themselves
    4)

Yes ,It is a good step taken by our government. In our country there are lot of accidents happened ever year ,if i tell you about previous year report then it is around 1-1.5 lakh of deaths taken place due to road accident only. It is very serious issue in our second most populated country. As we see on roads people used to ride bikes without helmets without any fear and when any accident takes place then the same people start to comment about the insecurities.
Ther are laws earlier also but it was not so sophisticated that’s why anyone was not taking serious and do things according to their will but after these stringent rules ,the same people will once think before not following the rules.
If I talk about the PROS and CONS then,
    PROS:
    1. PEOPLE WILL BECOME ALERT.
    2. ACCIDENTS WILL BE DECREASE IN NO’S.
    3. TRAFFIC SOLUTION WILL BECOME EASY .
    NOW CONS.
    1. CORRUPTION WILL INCREASE BY TRAFFIC POLICE.
    2. MAY BE POORS AND ILLETERATE FEEL PROBLEM ,AS THEY ARE NOT MUCH AWARE OF THE CRITERIAS AND RULES.
Now if I give my views in regard to topic then , A trasparency should be there in between the culprits and traffic police so that the culprit will not give money to safe himself and also the police will not ask money as a bribe inspite of punishment according to rules. Cameras should be place somewhere on traffic policemens body and at tbe time of his/her duty it can record the incident which shows the transparency between them and traffic policemen also have to contain all the documents and equipments which are necessary at the time of catching those peoples and if not having those things then there is a right for peoples sides too that they can question traffic policemens for all those formalities.
Atlast I want to say that this step will change the nature of traffic and accidents and is good for the peoples .
    Thankyou

According to me heavy fines for traffic rules violation is a very good steps Govt has taken. We know every year many people died by road accident and most of the time we see they are very young. Actually people they have don’t care attitude. They knew if police catch them they have to pay little penalty I e don’t use helmet, don’t use seatbelt and attitude of rush driving, At night people takes drink may be return from late night party and drive as a result they meet accident. They know if police catch they will pay little penalty. But they forget if any accident occur what will happen may be innocent pedestrian or street people can die and may be he will injure and sometimes injury is so critical may be his death penalty. But from this Sept government imposed heavy penalty for traffic violation, when money will go from their pocket for heavy penalty then at least they will think twice and at least to save the money they will not violate the traffic rules and it is better to them otherwise day by day peoples are getting so desparate they don’t care , if they have their two wheeler or four wheeler they enjoy the riding with their friends so heavy penalty it’s good for everyone.

The Act, which came into effect from September 1, aims at stricter punishment for violation of traffic regulations and to bring discipline on roads.
The government has notified 63 provisions of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Act 2019, including the ones dealing with enhanced penalties for various traffic offences, from September 1. The new rules also enhance the penalty for drunken driving to imprisonment up to 6 months and/or fine up to Rs 10,000 for first offence and imprisonment up to 2 years and/or fine of Rs 15,000 for the second offence. Besides, the penalty for driving without a license will be increased from up to Rs 500 to Rs 5,000. Fine for not wearing a seatbelt would attract a fine of Rs 1,000 as against Rs 100 at present. The over-speeding penalty has been increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000.
But some of state is there who denied to accept this new policy and refuse this provision to accept.. i.e Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chattisgarh, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, West Bengal, Kerala, Gujarat, Delhi

As per my opinion i m in favour of government-

As we know government has no desire to levy heavy challan on the common man but the attempt is to make everyone follow rules. “The government does not desire to raise the limits of the fine. The issue is that a time should come that no one gets penalised and everyone follows the rules,” As our Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India NITIN GADKARI said on being asked about the heavy fines being levied on traffic rules violators. “Around 5 lakh accidents occur in the country every year 65 per cent of deaths occur at the age between 18 and 35. Shouldn’t people life be saved? There should be respect and fear for the law. as in foreign countries there are alredy very strick rules to break the road and traffic rules but still its not too late. India can also saves many death occurs due to road accidents

Conclusion – we have to respect our gov provisions and polices.. and we should have to follow the rules and regulations of road and transports to grab fine free life..

In my point of view this is a good move to control motor vehicle accidents. We have seen that every year lots of accidents happened due to not following proper traffic rule. Basically in the country like India, people are not much aware of need of traffic rule. Everyone thinks that it would not be happened with them. Maximum accidents happened just because of overconfidence. The strict implementation of traffic rules are very necessary to instill the feeling of realization. We have experienced the same in military area. The people who visited military area always wears helmet, ties seat belts and carries proper documents of vehicles because without this the entry is not permitted. This just happened by implimention of strict rule. Heavy planty fear will lead to do all that. The

Hlw everyone…I think it’s right decision at the right time because people’s are getting more careless..due to fear of heavy fine they will wear the helmet, seat belts and take care of themselves..so we should support our government decision what they made ..and before the working of this rule people thought that what we will have to pay just some money we will see.that mind set up of people could take them towards ditch .so now it’s rule will work very effectively to the citizens of India..

  • Abha Shivhare, Sep 10, 2019 @ 6:21 pm Reply

    Hey everyone,
The Government raised this system of high fine is completely fine in all the circumstances as it will work over the road accidents .
Because, only the fear of giving fine everyone be more careful , wearing a helmet for their safety and others .

    • MUKESH, Sep 12, 2019 @ 9:17 pm Reply

Hi Abha, what you are saying is correct. However, there is a difference between the act performed because of being fearful and being responsible. The heafty fines might force us to respect the traffic rules but unless we have the sense of responsibility within us, we cannot achieve the purpose. The moment we get a chance we’ll end up breaking the traffic rule. I think the need of the hour is to educate ourselves on this aspects.

      • Abha Shivhare, Sep 13, 2019 @ 10:13 am Reply

Yes absolutely you are right as people were taking their life in risk and others too and this is only option that can be opted .
And I agree with you completely about educating ourselves.

      • Shruti, Oct 31, 2019 @ 12:25 pm Reply

True, but on the contrary even the well educated people break the traffic rules. Awareness is not just the problem here. People do know that breaking rules might risk lives. But the busy roads and due to which time is saved less are the major reasons behind breaking traffic rules. Increase in fines will lead to immediate results. That is how the traffic will be regularised better and thus will save time of the people to some extent.
Being 2nd most populous country in the world it is not an easy step to run people under the guidance of the government. The next step should be improving the modes transportation more the ways to travel in lesser time, less the people will hinder the roads.
