Today is the second day of ‘Let’s Discuss’ program. For those who are not aware of this program, let me tell you what it is. It’s like a virtual group discussion. we’ll give you a GD topic on every Tuesday. Go to the embedded youtube video and express your thoughts on the topic by tomorrow morning 10 o’ clock. We’ll read each and every comment and we’ll heart the 10 best comments. And the best among them will be pinned. ( Note :- Write your comment in the YouTube and not this post, so that all comments will be at one place )

The aim of this program is to create a platform for students to express their views, to learn from the opinions of others and to finesse their articulation skills. The topic is mentioned in the video. (Today’s topic is – Fake News).

Fake news are the one which are not true but are deteriorated by someone to gain by such means.
Fake news play their role in different ways. These may viliant burst anger inside people against a class of individual, can spread negative news to defame someone, also these are used to create a kind of law and order problem so that people won’t continue believing in their government.
Politics is one of the platforms where it is widely used to defame other parties or even to get vote bank by hampering law and order situation in particular region.
In business firms also it is used to spread misleading and false info about a particular brand.
These are also affects class of people like recently cow vigilants were killing those who are taking cattle in their trucks even to sell them for dairy products.
Such news are spread through social media , print media, paid main stream media.
Social media like WhatsApp, YouTube, fb are some which are used as an easy medium because these platforms have large number of people .
Peoples need to be more aware, literateand must use their intellect to segregate real news from fake news. Gvernment plays vital role in controlling such practices with the help of different agencies like recently WhatsApp took some steps in imitating these news , fb also took responsibility after government intervention and give option to report fake news.

According to me we get fake news from social media and news channel. Some of the people they post fake news to get fun. Sometimes we watch fake news in news channel actually they deviate the truth and give the colour of the incident and publish because of people eat it. somebody post fake news to get the fame. But many times we see people suffer a lot for fake news. Cyber cell has to take strong action those post the fake news and they should be punished.

Fake news is one of the cause where people loss their trust on newspapers,social media. Many people because to have popularity posing themselves by fake news. Even news papers today are publishing fake news not knowing the definite cause, they simply publish the news to have a fame. some of the political leaders also by giving money and by using their power spreding fake news. ultimately people have to suffer because of this fake news. one should be cautious before believing anything. The one who are involved in spreading fake news should have to be punish. so that some part of the fake news may get curbed.
