What is Beti Bachao Beti Padhao :-

  • “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” is an initiative started by the Government of India under our Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 22nd January 2015 at Haryana. With an effort to make transitions in the mere mindset of the Indians towards the female society, this campaign focussed mainly on women empowerment and girl child rights. India has a sex ratio of 943 women per 1000 men. These horrifying statistics have now become a huge problem for finding a spouse mainly in regions like Delhi, Haryana.

Achievements :-

  • Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) was started in Panipat in 2015. Now, with such an initiative. the sex ratio has crossed up to 950 females per 1000 males.
  • BJP being the running party, we now have many women police officers from the earlier 6 percent to  8.5 in such a small period.
  • The government is giving utmost priority to the quality of education infrastructure encouraging more and more girl child to transform their future and fulfil their dreams.
  • Reports suggesting the failure of students in class 1 to class 10 has now been taken under consideration having built a new test system to incorporate a better knowledge about the subjects and thorough understanding.
  • Presenting their first version with over 6000 downloads, we now can view the details of BBBP campaign on the app store which is gaining popularity day by day.

Criticism :-

  • BBBP is much talked about these days and with such huge expectations out of this social campaign, it needs a lot of civic body support for the expansion and execution of the various objectives BBBP promises to deliver.
  • Many social and cultural norms like Sati, female foeticide, domestic violence and child marriage makes it harder for BBBP to erase such harsh notions from the minds of people.
  • People need to trust BBBP in order to support its practices and objectives. With the migration of BBBP officials and administrators every now and then to various other offices, the followers of the campaign often bond weakly with the new faces and have weak relationships.
  • The long driven problem stands in the basic mindset of the Indian society who looks down at their females as inferiors adding no value to the family households. BBBP still hasn’t visibly worked at this primary problem.
  • In a world where people are hungry for results and don’t bother about a number of efforts put on any project, BBBP failed to deliver accurate statistics and how in future they plan to execute their plans.

Conclusion :-

“When you educate a man, you educate a man but when you educate a woman, you educate a generation”. With the zest of celebrating the birth of a baby girl, we all must support the noble initiative Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Andolan.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao has been appreciated worldwide with the small girls, willing to study in schools one day, fix their aspirations and dreams on this campaign. We need a strong and determined BBBP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to balance the sex ratio and mark the rebirth of the new India.

Don’t save girls please…it’s better to kill dem in womb instead of killing dem by doing marriage(male dominating families do it, just to get rid of her) or by raping her. Girl family respect deir son-in-law bt not their own daughter. If u save her now she will die due to her husband and in-laws torture or if she dare to live independtly socity will kill or rape her. Anyhow she is dying then whats the point in having her to go through these many horrible phases of life. Don’t save girl first make her stronger by punishing males who thinks dey are nly God’s on Earth without them womens are nothing and even females think they are completely dependent on them and if they dare to live independtly, this society will blame her for her independence.
Not all girls/ women’s are facing this but 8 out of 10 are suffering. And the one suffering never shares her pain even if she shares society will say you have to adjust bcoz we have also adjusted. And the male group soon they get married to another girl and parents agree to do second marriage even after knowing he killed/tortured his wife, they agree to do marriage just to remove the burden of unmarried girl.
I m suffering, my sister is married and suffering. This all happened only because my mother tolerated everything, in a hope that one day everything will be alright. But that day never came and we are living zombie life

This is actually very concerning and yet no one looks after this rather there are fights and what not in the name of religion and honestly we are all tired of this.

I guess our outlooks changed with our culture and tradition, what you express is partially true but from our standpoint is not completely true.

Yes. I agree. “When you educate a man, you educate a man but when you educate a woman, you educate a generation”. According to neuro- linguistics, every living being is entitled for education. Girls should be given at-least life oriented life skills.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao – This is very good steps for women . Earlier years we used to see people neglect female child even sometimes some women if they gave birth female child they used to torture by the family members. But nowadays most of the family they don’t think there is any difference of male and female child , they both are same. Actually education is very essential, without education women cannot stand their own feet . Now most of the woman they are working they are financially stable they don’t need to depend on others . Central Government Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and state government Kanya Shree project is very good . Many remote areas woman they are
also getting the facility. We everybody knows we are living in a male dominated society but the day has come woman they will not be tortured in our society because they are financially stable. This is not very far one day will come only single female child will not be there she doesn’t have education and as well as financially stable.

Beti bachao beti padhao was an initiative started by the government of India under our prime minister narendra modi on 22nd January 2015. With such an amazing initiative India’s girls and women have freedom in their life. India has sex ratio of 943 women per 1000 men. BJP government started BBBP at Hariyana. It is educating girls and women. Today in India, sex ratio has increased to 950 female per 1000 male. Now women have freedom to choose any sector. When the whole family is educated, they can more opportunities to women in their family. Such an important initiative was started in January 2015 in panipat at Hariyana. That’s all about BBBP sir. Thanks sir for giving me such opportunity to express my views about BBBP.
